ONE DAY GOVERNOR 2014

   

The 14th One-Day- Governor of Lagos State  emerged at the 2014 Spelling Bee competition held at Alausa, Lagos. The competition was organized in two phases for both primary and secondary school students. There were 55 contestants from 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas. The competition,was initiated in 2001 by New Era Foundation under the leadership of Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

                                         

                                       

A 15-year-old Master Edun Olabanji of Army Children’s Senior Secondary School, Onigbongbo,  whose father is a carpenter and mother, a refuse truck driver with Lagos Waste Management Agency (LAWMA) emerge as the “ One-Day Governor” of Lagos State at Alausa, Ikeja.

                       
                                   

                                         

                                  

                                    
                                   

                                    
            

                                    

              

And by virtue of this exemplary performance, he became the automatic ‘One Day Governor for Lagos State

He was also rewarded with N250,000, a gold trophy and a certificate of participation
